Birgit Berthold, German actress.

Berthold was born and raised in Lutherstadt Wittenberg, Germany, in 1959. After completing his higher education in 1977, he trained as an actor at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts. Following his training, he worked for an organisation that assists people with disabilities. He also appeared in numerous plays staged at the Parkau Theatre from 1990 onwards, as well as at the Lutherstadt Wittenberg Theatre, Schwedt/Oder and Gera Theatre. In addition to theatre, he has appeared in cinema and television productions including Zille und ich, Der Staatsanwalt hat das Wort, Schloss Einstein, Hausbau mit Hindernissen and Käthe und ich.Filmography
