Bill Odenkirk


William Leonard Odenkirk is an American comedy writer.

Biography

Odenkirk was born William Leonard Odenkirk on October 13, 1965, in Naperville, Illinois to Walter Henry Odenkirk, who was employed in the printing business, and Barbara Mary Odenkirk. He is the younger brother of American actor and comedian Bob Odenkirk, and worked as a writer, producer and actor on the HBO sketch comedy TV show Mr. Show with Bob and David, which featured his brother as co-star. Odenkirk went on to write for Tenacious D, Futurama, and Disenchantment. He has written and executive produced episodes of The Simpsons. He holds a PhD in inorganic chemistry from the University of Chicago.
