Bijnan Bandyopadhyay
Bijnan Bandyopadhyay is an Indian Professor who worked at the Department of Systems and Control Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay from 1987 to 2022. He also serves as a Visiting Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur, Jodhpur.
Education
Bijnan Bandyopadhyay completed his Bachelor of Engineering degree in electronics and telecommunication engineering from the University of Calcutta in 1978. He then pursued his PhD in electrical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi in 1986. He is a Life Fellow of IEEE. He is also a Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering, Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences of India, Indian National Academy of Science. Elected as a Fellow of the Indian Academy of Sciences in 2020.Research
