Basil III of Constantinople
Basil III of Constantinople, born Vasileios Georgiadis, was Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople being elected on 13 July 1925, and serving until his death in 1929.
He studied theology and philology at the University of Athens, and obtained a PhD at the University of Munich.
