Baring Bay
Baring Bay is an Arctic waterway in the Qikiqtaaluk Region, Nunavut, Canada. It lies off the southwestern coast of Devon Island in the eastern high Arctic. Like Macormick Bay to the south, it is an arm of Wellington Channel.
It was named in 1850–1852 in honour of Sir Francis Thornhill Baring, then First Lord of the Admiralty, along with Baring Strait, Baring Land and Baring Island. Baring Cape and Baring Channel were also named in his honour, but later.
