Bankura Junction railway station
Bankura Junction railway station is a railway junction station of Kharagpur–Bankura–Adra line and Bankura–Damodar Railway route under the Adra railway division of South Eastern Railway. It is situated near Lalbazar, Bankura town in Bankura district in the Indian state of West Bengal. Numerous express trains stop here. Recently, the train platform locators has been updated in the platforms, which has been really helpful for the passengers in order to identify the coach location of the train.
Bankura railway station is a three-way junction point having direct connection to Adra/Gomoh, Bishnupur/Kharagpur/Balasore, Masagram station on the Howrah-Barddhaman chord line via Sonamukhi.
