Suite in G minor, BWV 995
The Suite in G Minor, BWV 995, was transcribed for lute by composer Johann [Sebastian Bach] between the spring of 1727 and the winter of 1731 from his own Cello [Suites (Bach)#Suite No. 5 in C minor, BWV 1011|Cello Suite No. 5, BWV 1011]. It is in six movements:
The sources for this are: an autograph manuscript by Bach, in staff notation on two staves ; and a version in lute tablature made from it by an unnamed lutenist.
