Awutu Senya District
Awutu Senya District is a former district that was located in Central Region, Ghana. Originally it was part of the larger Awutu/Effutu/Senya District, which split in two on 29 February 2008. A few years later, on 28 June 2012, the Awutu Senya District itself split into two new districts: Awutu Senya West District and Awutu Senya East District. The district assembly was located in the southeast part of Central Region and had Awutu Breku as its capital town.
