Atala Mosque, Jaunpur

The Atala Mosque, also known as the Atala Masjid, is a 15th-century mosque in Jaunpur, in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.
The mosque is situated from Shahi Qila ; from the Jama Mosque; north-northeast of Jaunpur; northwest of Zafarābād; north-northeast of Mariāhū; and west-northwest of Kirākat.

Architecture

The entire mosque covers a square of on each side. There are three huge gateways for the entrance. The height of the mosque is more than, and the total perimeter is. The central dome is almost above the ground, but cannot be seen from the front because of the tall tower.
