Ashton Daniels
Ashton Daniels is an American college football quarterback for the Florida State Seminoles. He previously played for the Stanford Cardinal and Tigers football|Auburn Tigers].
Early life and high school
Daniels attended Buford [High School (Georgia)|Buford High School] in Buford, Georgia. As quarterback for the Buford Wolves, he led his team to three straight state championships. He committed to Stanford University to play college football.College career

Daniels played in 10 games as the team's wildcat quarterback as a true freshman. He became Stanford's starting quarterback in his sophomore year. In his first start, he passed for 249 yards and two touchdowns against 2023 [Hawaii Rainbow Warriors football team|Hawaii].Auburn
On December 16, 2024, Daniels announced he was transferring to Auburn University to play for the Tigers. In week 8, playing 2025 [Arkansas Razorbacks football team|Arkansas], he got the starting job after starter Jackson Arnold was benched for throwing a pick six; Auburn then won the game. The next week against 2025 [Kentucky Wildcats football team|Kentucky], in a loss, Daniels had a far worse performance, failing to complete half his passes, and only throwing for 108 yards. However, he redeemed himself against ranked 2025 [Vanderbilt Commodores football team|Vanderbilt], passing for 353 yards and 2 touchdowns, while rushing for 89 yards and 2 more touchdowns, though Auburn ended up losing the game.
