Arkady Strugatsky
Arkady Strugatsky (28 August 1925 – 12 October 1991) is a Soviet writer, interpreter, screenwriter, science fiction writer, and translator. He was born in Batumi. He died in Moscow.
He was educated at Military Institute of the USSR Ministry of Defence and Military Institute of Foreign Languages. Awards received include Order of the Red Star, Medal "For Battle Merit", Medal "For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945", Honorary Diploma of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR, and Golden Graoully for Best Foreign Novel.
