Antony Carbone
Antony Carbone was an Italian-American movie and television actor.
Biography
Carbone was born in Calabria, Italy on July 15, 1925. His family relocated to Syracuse, New York when he was a young boy, and his name was changed to Antony Deago Carbone. The family later relocated to Los Angeles, California.After graduating from Los Angeles State College, he relocated to New York City to study drama. He started his professional acting career with small parts in various Broadway productions before becoming involved with movies and television.
He was probably known best for his acting roles in several low-budget horror movies by Roger Corman during the late 1950s and early 1960s. In 1968, Carbone appeared as the first Mexican character of the television series The Big Valley, for the episode titled "Miranda."
From the mid-1980s, he worked as a stage director in Los Angeles. Carbone died in Long Beach, California in October 2020, at the age of 95.
