Anna Reynolds (writer)
Anna Reynolds is a British novelist, playwright, and screenwriter. She is the author of Tightrope and Jordan, which was voted "Best Play of 1992" at the Writers Guild Awards, and co-author of The Winding Sheet, a film that won a Silver Hugo at the Chicago Film Festival. Her first novel, Insanity, was published in 1996.

Reynolds has had 10 plays professionally produced, including Jordan, Red, Precious, Wild Things, Look At Me, Deep Joy, Skin Hunger, Ring Road Tales, and Sweetie Pie. She has also written a feminist play; Nothing on Earth. Her screenplay Paradise was broadcast by the BBC and The Winding Sheet by Channel 4 Television in the UK.She has written for The Times, The Guardian, New Statesman, The Observer, and The Big Issue.
