Anastasiya Alpyeyeva
Anastasiya Alpyeyeva is a Ukrainian freestyle wrestler competing in the 76 kg division. She won the gold medal at the 2025 European Wrestling Championships.
Career
In 2018, Anastasia won the first bronze medal for the national team at the European Cadet Championships under 17 in the 69kg weight class. In May 2019, she performed at her first adult international tournament ‘Memorial of Outstanding Ukrainian Wrestlers and Coaches’ in Kiev, where she became the third. In June 2019, she also won a bronze medal in the 72 kg weight category at the World Junior Championships. In May 2021, entered the European Under-23 Wrestling Championships, but was only fourth. In June 2021, she competed at the European Junior Championships in Germany and came first. In November 2021, she won the Under-23 World Wrestling Championships in Serbia.In the 2025 European Wrestling Championships held in Bratislava, Slovakia, after bypassing the first round, she reached the final by defeating German Laura Kühn in the quarterfinals with a 4-0 pin in the quarterfinals and in the semifinals against Belarus Anastasiya Zimiankova, who competed for the World Wrestling Union, with an 8-0 pin against her opponent. She won the gold medal by defeating Turkish Yasemin Adar 6-0 in the final match.
