An-Najjariyah
An-Najjariyah is a municipality in the Sidon District, On the coast of the South Governorate. The Zahrani River ends in Najjarieh, with its mouth being in the northern tip of the village, The river divides Najjariyah between it and the southern town of Ghazieh to the north. The Village mainly consists of Shiite Muslims, all particularly live in the same area of the municipality, while the sunni muslims usually live in their own neighborhood “Hayy Al-Arab” which translates to “Neighborhood of The Arabs”. Most of the sunni muslims in An-Najjariyah consist of Bedouin Lebanese Arabs. While some Sunni Bedouins live in the Msayleh area of the municipality. The village administers three hamlets: Msayleh, Kherbet Basal and Al-Zahrani.
