2020 United States House of Representatives elections in Virginia
The 2020 United States House of Representatives elections in Virginia was held on November 3, 2020, to elect the 11 United States [House of Representatives|U.S. representatives] from the state of Virginia, one from each of the state's 11 congressional districts. The elections coincided with the 2020 [United States presidential election|2020 U.S. presidential election], as well as United States [House of Representatives elections, 2020|other elections] to the House of Representatives, elections to the United States Senate, and various state and local elections.
District 1
The 1st district is based in the western Chesapeake Bay, taking in the exurbs and suburbs of Washington, D.C., and Richmond, including Fredericksburg, Mechanicsville, and Montclair. The incumbent was Republican Rob Wittman, who was re-elected with 55.2% of the vote in 2018.Republican primary
