Alfredo Ghierra

Alfredo Juan Ghierra Calcagno was a Uruguayan footballer who played for the Uruguay national [football team|Uruguay national team].
He was a member of the squads which won the gold medal in the 1924 [Summer">1924 South American Championship">1924 [Summer Olympics|1924 Olympics], as well as the South American Championship three consecutive times: 1923 [South American Championship|1923], 1924 [South American Championship|1924] and 1926.
Ghierra played club football for Universal and Nacional [de">Club Nacional de Football">Nacional [de Football|Nacional].
