Ainu Party


The Ainu Party is a moderate 'nationalist' regional political party active in Hokkaido. This is a regional party that defends the interests of the Ainu people. The Ainu Party advocates the interests of the Ainu people, and a "multicultural or multiracial symbiotic society".
The Ainu Party was formed by a political group from November 2011, and was founded in January 2012.

The party also insists on designating Ainu languages as the official language of Japan, and opposition to the Trans-Pacific Partnership.
