Ahmet Bozer
Ahmet C. Bozer is a Turkish-American business executive. He served as executive vice president of The Coca-Cola Company and as president of Coca-Cola International, overseeing all operations outside North America. He is also the author of Soulgery: A Lifelong Guide to Unlocking Your Potential.
Early years
Bozer was born in Istanbul in 1960. His father, Ali Bozer, was a professor of commercial law and a politician. Ahmet graduated from TED [Ankara Koleji] and earned a degree in Business Administration from the Middle East Technical University in Ankara, followed by an MBIS in Business Information Systems from Georgia State University.Career
Bozer began his career in 1983 as an assistant professor at the DeVry Institute of Technology. He joined Coopers & Lybrand in Atlanta in 1985, working in audit, consultancy, and management roles.In 1990, he joined The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta as financial control manager. He returned to Turkey as region finance manager and later became chief financial officer and managing director of Coca-Cola Bottlers of Türkiye.
In 2000, he rejoined The Coca-Cola Company as president of the Eurasia Division, responsible for nine countries, including the Caucasus and Central Asia. Between 2000 and 2012, his role expanded to cover over 90 countries across Eurasia, Africa, India, Russia, and the Middle East.
In 2012, he was appointed executive vice president and president of Coca-Cola International, leading operations in more than 200 countries outside North America, with retail revenues exceeding $80 billion.
Throughout his tenure, Bozer chaired and served on multiple international business councils, including the Brazil–U.S., U.S.–Pakistan, and U.S.–Turkey business councils. From 2013 to 2016, he served as chair of the Business Council for International Understanding.
After retiring from The Coca-Cola Company in 2016, Bozer assumed various non-executive roles globally. He served on the boards of Coca-Cola Hellenic, Hepsiburada, and Esas Holding. He continues to serve on the advisory board of Swire Coca-Cola and on the board of directors of the Turkish Philanthropy Funds in New York. He also holds advisory positions at the J. Mack [Robinson College of Business] at Georgia State University.
