Adelphicos newmanorum

Adelphicos newmanorum, the Middle American burrowing snake or Newmans' earth snake, is a colubrid snake. It is endemic to Mexico and known from the states of San Luis Potosí, Nuevo León, and Tamaulipas.

Etymology

Adelphicos newmanorum is named in honor of American zoologist Robert J. Newman and his wife Marcella Newman.

Adelphicos newmanorum is reddish-brown.
