The district contains the hills Jabal [al Maḩāriq], Jabal al Minjārah, Jabal al Qāhirī, Kabbat al Ḩamrā' and Kabbat al Manşabah, and the wadis Wādī al Mūsīyah, Wādī Kusr and Wādī Namir.
