Acteonemertidae
Acteonemertidae is a family of worms belonging to the order Monostilifera. It contains 5 genera which are terrestrial and can be found on the Iberian Peninsula.
Members of the family Acteonemertidae are a group of terrestrial and semi-terrestrial nemerteans. Nemerteans are ribbon worms with significant ecological diversity, with many species living on coastlines and fully terrestrial environments. They are capable of surviving in harsh weather or water-scarce habitats by forming protective cocoons to prevent them from being dried out.
