Accra Girls Senior High School
Accra Girls Senior High School is an all female second cycle institution in Accra in the Greater Accra Region, Ghana. It operates as a non-denominational day and boarding school. Accra Girls Senior High School hosted a session organized by the Community Education and Youth Development Directorate of the National Commission on Culture, aimed at preparing final-year students for their WAEC examination.
In 1960, Accra Girls Senior High was founded as a Ghana Education Trust institution. Under the direction of expatriate Blanch Gibson, the school officially opened on September 30. The school has distinguished itself over its fifty-seven years of existence by upholding a high standard of discipline, academic excellence, and advancement. "Aim High" is the school's motto. It suggests that students' intellectual goals should never be limited and should never give way to mediocrity or complacency.
