4-Methylbenzyltrimethylammonium hydroxide is a quaternary ammonium compound with the formula C₁₁H₁₈N⁺OH⁻. It can be synthesized by reacting 4-methylbenzyl bromide with triethylamine, followed by stirring with silver oxide in water.
