2020 Washington Superintendent of Public Instruction election


The 2020 Washington Superintendent of Public Instruction election was held on November 3, 2020, to elect the superintendent of public instruction of Washington, concurrently with the 2020 U.S. presidential election, as well as elections to the U.S. Senate and various state and local elections, including for [2020 United States House of Representatives 2020 United States Senate elections|elections in Washington|U.S. House] and governor of Washington. Incumbent Superintendent of Public Instruction Chris Reykdal was re-elected to a second term, defeating challenger Maia Espinoza with 55% of the vote. While the race was officially non-partisan, Reykdal identified as a Democrat, while Espinoza identified as a Republican.
