2004 Washington Attorney General election
The 2004 Washington Attorney General election was held on Tuesday, November 2, 2004, to elect the attorney general of Washington, concurrently with the 2004 U.S. presidential election, as well as elections to the U.S. Senate and various state and local elections, including for elections in Washington|U.S. House] and 2004 [Washington gubernatorial election|governor of Washington].
Incumbent Democratic Attorney General Christine Gregoire retired to run for governor. Republican King County Councilor Rob McKenna defeated Democratic former state Insurance Commissioner Deborah Senn to succeed Gregoire. Primary elections took place on September 14.
