- 30 January - Luis Gálvez RodrÃguez de Arias is restored to the governorship of Acre.
- 15 March - The Brazilian government sends troops to arrest rebel leader Luis Gálvez RodrÃguez de Arias and restore the "Republic of Acre" to Bolivia.
