Ivan Varavva
Ivan Varavva (5 February 1925 – 13 April 2005) is a Soviet-Russian poet, writer, children's writer, screenwriter, prose writer, playwright, and journalist. He was born in North Caucasus Krai. He died in Krasnodar.
He was educated at Maxim Gorky Literature Institute. Awards received include Medal "For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945", Order of the Red Star, Order of the Badge of Honour, Order of the Patriotic War 1st class, Order of the Patriotic War 2nd class, Medal "For Courage", Medal "For the Defence of the Caucasus", Medal "For the Liberation of Warsaw", Medal "For the Capture of Berlin", and Hero of Labour of Krasnodar Krai.
