William Henry Trethowan
William Henry Trethowan (3 June 1917 – 15 December 1995) is a psychiatrist, music director, composer, conductor, jazz trumpeter, keyboardist, teacher, writer, collector, gardener, lecturer, musical instrument maker, military officer, and reviewer. He was born in London. He died in Birmingham.
He was educated at Oundle School, Clare College, Guy's Hospital, Maudsley Hospital, and Massachusetts General Hospital.
