Stanislas Mangin

Stanislas Mangin (20 September 1917 – 16 June 1986) is a French jurist, military personnel, and resistance fighter. He was born in 16th arrondissement of Paris. He died in 19th arrondissement of Paris.

He was educated at École Spéciale Militaire de Saint-Cyr and -. Awards received include Companion of the Liberation, Commander of the Legion of Honour, Officer of Arts and Letters, Officer of the French Order of Academic Palms, Croix de guerre 1939–1945, Escapees' Medal, Croix du combattant volontaire de la Résistance, Bronze Star Medal, King's Medal for Courage in the Cause of Freedom, and Commander of the order of Nichan Iftikhar.
