Matthias Pier
Matthias Pier (22 July 1882 – 12 September 1965) is a German chemist. He was born in Nackenheim. He died in Heidelberg.
He was educated at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Awards received include Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, DECHEMA Medal, Bunsen Medal, Carl Engler Medal, and Goethe Medal for Art and Science.
