Mane (clan)


The Mane also called, is a Maratha clan found largely in Maharashtra, Karnataka and neighbouring states of India.

History

The Manes were holders of fiefs during Shivaji's time and considered themselves "loyal subjects" of Aurangzeb or Adil Shah.
