Ivan Korovnikov

Ivan Korovnikov (21 February 1902 – 9 July 1976) is a Soviet military officer and politician. He was born in Balakovo. He died in Moscow.

He was educated at Military Academy of Armored Forces. Awards received include Order of the Red Banner, Order of Lenin, Order of the Red Star, Jubilee Medal "XX Years of the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army", Order of Suvorov, 1st class, Order of Kutuzov, 2nd class, Medal "For the Defence of Leningrad", Medal "For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945", and Medal "Veteran of the Armed Forces of the USSR".
