Georgy Lopato

Georgy Lopato (23 August 1924 – 13 February 2003) is a Soviet-Belarusian computer scientist. He was born in Azierščyna. He died in Minsk.

He was educated at Moscow Power Engineering Institute. This person's employers include All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Electromechanics, Minsk plant of electronic computing machines, Moscow Power Engineering Institute, Computer Research Institute, and Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics. Awards received include Order of the Badge of Honour, USSR State Prize, Order of the October Revolution, Order of the Red Banner of Labour, Order of Lenin, Order of the Patriotic War 1st class, and Computer Pioneer Award.
