Franz Himpsel
Franz Himpsel (born 30 October 1949) is a German physicist. He was born in Rosenheim.
He was educated at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. This person's employers include University of Wisconsin–Madison and IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center. Awards received include Fellow of the American Physical Society, Davisson–Germer Prize in Atomic or Surface Physics, and Peter Mark Memorial Award.
