Ethylcyclohexane is an organic compound with the formula. The molecule consists of an ethyl group attached to a cyclohexane ring. It is a typical naphthene in petroleum. It can be produced by hydrogenation of ethylbenzene and by hydrodeoxygenation of lignin.
