Emil Vedel
Emil Vedel (30 August 1824 – 24 May 1909) is a Danish jurist, archaeologist, and civil servant. He was born in Nørre Søby. He died in Sorø.
He was educated at Østre Borgerdyd school. Awards received include Knight of the Order of the Dannebrog, Decoration of the Cross of Honour of the Dannebrog, commander of the Order of the Dannebrog, Knight Grand Officer of the Order of the Dannebrog, and Grand Cross of the Order of the Dannebrog.
