Elene Metreveli

Elene Metreveli (1917 – 2003) is a Transcaucasian Democratic Federative Republic, Democratic Republic of Georgia, Socialist Soviet Republic of Georgia, Soviet, and Georgian philologist, literary scholar, archaeograph, and university teacher. She was born in Zestaponi. She died in Tbilisi.

She was educated at Faculty of Philology, Tbilisi University. This person's employers include Simon Janashia Museum of Georgia, Tbilisi Pedagogical Institute, and Georgian National Academy of Sciences. Awards received include Order of the Red Banner of Labour, Honoured Scientist of the Georgian SSR, State Prize of Georgia, and Order of Honour.
