Carlos Alvar
Carlos Alvar (born 29 October 1951) is a Spanish romanist, university teacher, literary critic, philologist, and translator. He was born in Granada.
He was educated at Complutense University of Madrid and Autonomous University of Barcelona. This person's employers include Spanish National Research Council, University of Basel, University of Alcalá, and University of Geneva. Awards received include honorary doctorate of the University of Cordoba.
