Arno Borst

Arno Borst (8 May 1925 – 24 April 2007) is a German historian of mathematics, medievalist, university teacher, and historian. He was born in Alzenau. He died in Constance.

He was educated at University of Göttingen. This person's employers include Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and University of Münster. Awards received include Officer's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, Sigmund Freud Prize, Brüder-Grimm-Preis der Philipps-Universität Marburg, Carl Friedrich Gauss Medal, Prize of the Historical College, Balzan Prize, and Bodensee-Literaturpreis.
