Andrey Kononov

Andrey Kononov (14 October 1906 – 30 October 1986) is a Russian, Russian Socialist Federative Soviet Republic, and Soviet linguist, Turkologist, and university teacher. He was born in Saint Petersburg. He died in Saint Petersburg.

He was educated at Leningrad Orient Institute. This person's employers include Institute of Oriental Manuscripts of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Saint Petersburg State University. Awards received include Order of Lenin, Order of the Badge of Honour, Order of the Red Banner of Labour, and Order of Friendship of Peoples.
