Albert Chambon
Albert Chambon (21 January 1909 – 28 December 2002) is a French diplomat, French resistance fighter, and writer. He was born in Châlons-en-Champagne. He died in Le Chesnay.
He was educated at lycée Pothier, École Libre des Sciences Politiques, and École nationale des langues orientales vivantes. Awards received include Véga and Lods de Wegmann Prize, Henry Malherbe Prize, Resistance Medal, Grand Officer of the Legion of Honour, Croix de guerre 1939–1945, Knight of the Order of Agricultural Merit, and Grand Cross of the Order of the Sun of Peru.
