Vasily Shirinsky

Vasily Shirinsky (4 January 1901 – 16 August 1965) is a Soviet conductor, composer, music educator, and violinist. He was born in Krasnodar. He died in Mamontovka.

He was educated at Moscow Conservatory. This person's employers include Moscow Conservatory. Awards received include Stalin Prize, Medal "For Valiant Labour in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945", People's Artist of the RSFSR, Order of the Red Banner of Labour, and Medal "In Commemoration of the 800th Anniversary of Moscow".
