Big Timber is a 1936 Australian novel by William Hatfield.
The novel was set in the timber industry, where Hatfield had worked.
The novel was serialised in the Sydney Morning Herald in 1936.
The Bulletin called the novel "a conventional poor-boy-rich-girl romance which the author has made the vehicle of a considerable knowledge of the timber industry and of the lives of trees."
The novel sold very well.
