Sandie McCarthy
Alexandra Leigh McCarthy is a New Zealand nursing academic and as of September 2018 she was a full professor at the University of Auckland.
Academic career
After a 2005 PhD titled 'A rebellious distemper : a Foucaultian history of breast cancer to 1900' at the Queensland University of Technology, she moved to the University of Auckland, rising to full professor. In early 2017 she was appointed head of the University School of Nursing.Selected works
